Mrs. Ann F. (Housel) McNamara, age 84, of Buena Road, Schellsburg, died at 7:05 AM , Sunday, June 22nd, 2008 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. McNamara was born in New York City, NY on July 30, 1923, the daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Flynn) Cunningham.

She was a housewife and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore.

Ann was the widow of Paul R. Housel whom she married in October of 1945 and he preceded her in death in August of 1970. She then married Daniel McNamara, in November of 1974, and he preceded her in death August 1997..

She is survived by Daughter- Deborah (Housel) wife of Ronald Ebbert, Biglerville; Son- Kevin Housel husband of Susan Maddy, Schellsburg; Son- Barry Housel husband of Janet Davis, Fairfield. Ann is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

Ann was also preceded in death by daughter - Carolyn Housel, foster -daughter - Mary Louise Chalfont, 3 sisters - Margaret and Dotty & an infant .

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Church at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 26th, 2008, with Father Allen Zeth, celebrant.

Friends are invited to call Wednesday 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg. where a vigil for the deceased will be held Wednesday at 8:30 PM.
