Mrs. Anna J. Otto, 88, of  Barefoot Road, Alum Bank, formerly of Fishertown, died at 7:55 AM, Sunday, July 4th, 2010 at Pennknoll Village. 

Mrs. Otto was born in King Township on Sunday, May 14, 1922, the daughter of the late Herman and Gertrude (Fickes) Claycomb.

On July 19, 1941, she married Harry D. Otto.  He preceded her in death on December 4, 1973.

She is survived by  Son- James  H. husband of  Judy (Yarnell) Otto, Everett; Son- Larry E. husband of  Diane (Bowser) Otto, Alum Bank; Daughter- Betty Jane wife of  Roy Barefoot, New Paris; Daughter- Barbara Ann Keene wife of James Lewis, Vienna, VA; Daughter- Susan Kay wife of  Gregory Sea, Manassas, VA; Son- Robert L. husband of  Jane (Neider) Otto, Stafford, VA; Daughter- Deborah L. wife of  Edward Levadnuk, Raleigh, NC; Daughter- Anita J. wife of  William Wendell, Everett; Sister- Betty Geisel, Alum Bank; Brother- John "Bud" Claycomb, North Ridgefield, OH; Sister- Mildred Carberry, Hollidaysburg; Brother- William Claycomb, Alum Bank; Sister-in-Law- Violet Claycomb, Olmstead Falls, OH; Brother-in-Law- Gordon Walker, Fort Lauderdale, FL. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter.  Anna was preceded in death by a brother; Charles "Sonny" Claycomb, a sister; Alma Walker and a granddaughter; Angela Kaye Otto

Anna was a past member of the former St. James Lutheran Church in Alum Bank.  She was a member of the Alum Bank United Methodist Church. 

Anna was a homemaker.  She was employed with the Chestnut Ridge High School custodial staff.  She was then a clerk at the Chestnut Ridge Market and she worked at Old Bedford Village.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasantville. at 10:30 AM on Thursday, July 8th, 2010 with Rev. Charles Jack and Rev. Gary Donaldson officiating. 

Interment at Fishertown Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
