                                 OBITUARY                                                June 9, 2010

                              Pastor David M. Wiley

 

Pastor David  M. Wiley, 82, of  Wiley Lane, New Paris, died at 7:30 AM, Wednesday, June 9th, 2010 at Donahoe Manor. 

Mr. Wiley was born in Springs, Somerset County on Saturday, October 1, 1927,  the son of the late Viett and Martha (Killius) Wiley.

On November 22, 1950, he married Laura C. (Shetler) Wiley.

In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Larry J. husband of  Debbie (Callihan) Wiley, Three Forks, MT; Brother- Mark Wiley, Fishertown; Brother- Alton Wiley, Springs. He is also survived by three grandsons, Brian Wiley, husband of Mikki; Travis Wiley, husband of Mikelle; and Corey Wiley, husband of Melissa, and ten great grandchildren, Brooke, Katelyn, Chase, Colten, Cody, Cailey, Cade, Creed, Cassidy, and Curtis.  He was preceded in death by an infant son, Danny and three sisters, June, Carolyn and Jane.

Pastor Wiley was ordained in 1982.  He was the Pastor and member at the Pleasantview Mennonite Church in Schellsburg.  Along with his wife, David was the co-owner of Wiley's Health Center for 40 years.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Manns Choice Church of God at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 12th, 2010 with Pastor Joe Shawley officiating.

Interment at Schellsburg Cemetery. 

Friends are invited to call on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the church.
