Mrs. Etta M. Wissinger, 94, formerly of Pleasantville, died at 12:25 PM, Thursday, July 1st, 2010 at Donahoe Manor. 

Mrs. Wissinger was born in Paint Township, on Sunday, July 18, 1915,  the daughter of the late Levi and Susannah (Erb) Weible.

On September 19, 1931, she married John C. Wissinger, Sr.  He preceded her in death on October 22, 1995.  She is survived by  Son- John  Wissinger, Jr., Alum Bank; Daughter- Thelma R. wife of  George Blankley, Everett; Son- Gary P. husband of  Edna (Shaffer) Wissinger; Sister- Sadie McClintock, Johnstown; Sister- Elva Brant, Silver Springs, MD. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren,  two great great grandchildren.
 Etta was preceded in death by a son; Robert, a grandson; Thomas; three infant siblings, John C. Weible, Ethel Mae, and Clarence; and by the following brothers and sisters; Esther Small, Anna Catherine Gordon, Viola Victoria Weible, George Weible and Mary Louise Weible

She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Pleasantville.  Etta was a homemaker.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasantville, at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 6th, 2010 with Rev. Donna Wolfinger officiating.

Interment at St. Thomas Lutheran Church Cemetery, Hooversville.  

Friends are invited to call on Monday from  2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
