                                 OBITUARY                   June 2, 2008

                                                Janet S. "Susie" Ressler

Mrs. Janet S. "Susie" Ressler, age 49, of  Dunkard Hollow Road, Alum Bank, died, at 8:24 AM, Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008 at Donahoe Manor, in Bedford.

Mrs. Ressler was born in Snake Spring Township,  on Saturday, January 24, 1959,  the daughter of  William  and Mildred (Mock ) Lamison of Alum Bank.

She worked as an administrative assistant at BCDA of Bedford and was an active member of the Ryot Church of the Nazarene where she participated as a teacher in the Caravan Program.

A 1976 graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School and a graduate of CompuTech in Bedford.  Susie was very active in the Relay for Life Program, and as a cancer victim she fought bravely her disease without complaining.  She loved to vacation in her favored Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, camping,  and crocheting afgans for the humane society and for baby showers..

She was the wife of William D. Ressler, whom she married July 20, 1981..

In addition to her husband she is survived by her parents and  Son- Jonathan W. Ressler, at home. 

A Funeral Service will be held  at Jack Geisel Funeral Home, Inc. of Pleasantville at 2:00  PM on Friday, June 6th,  2008, with Revs. Art Roxby & Mark Mohnkern , officiating.

Interment at Fishertown Cemetery.
 
Friends are invited to call Thursday 2 to 4 & 7 to 9  PM at Jack Geisel Funeral Home,  Inc. of Pleasantville.
