Mrs. Jeanette L. Ferguson, 92, of Ferguson Road, Schellsburg died Thursday, July 22nd, 2010 at her home. 

Mrs. Ferguson was born in Napier Township on Thursday, March 21, 1918, the daughter of the late Russell and Elsie (Leppert) Crissey.

On February 18, 1936, she married Clark W. "Friday" Ferguson.  He preceded her in death on August 24, 1990.

She is survived by  Son- Leonard "Mick" husband of  Euda (Claycomb) Ferguson, Bedford; Son- Bernard "Turk" husband of  Ida Jane (Oldham) Ferguson, Schellsburg; Daughter- Betty wife of  Bert Miller, Bedford; Son- Donald "Gabby" husband of  Nancy (Vaughn) Ferguson, Schellsburg; Son- Clark Ferguson, Jr. husband of  Joyce (Foor) Ferguson, Carlisle; Son- David husband of  Susan (Smith) Ferguson, Bedford; Son- Ronald husband of  Nadine (Bailey) Ferguson, Schellsburg; Sister- LaVerne Smith, New Paris. Jeanette is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Dale.  

Jeanette retired from Chestnut Ridge School District after 15 years as a cafeteria worker. She was a member of the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church where she taught Sunday School.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 27th, 2010 with Pastor Daniel Oldham officiating.

Interment will be held at Schellsburg Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church.
