Mr. Joseph G. Siko, Jr., 74, of Diehl Road, Manns Choice, died at 10:00 PM, Wednesday, July 7th, 2010 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.

Mr. Siko was born in Pittsburgh, on Thursday, April 9, 1936, son of the late Joseph Siko, Sr. and Anna (Tomko) Siko.

On January 21, 1957, he married Donnaleigh (McCrea) Siko. In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Joanne M. wife of Ronald Formosa, Chambersburg; Daughter- Roberta J. Schwartz, Manns Choice; Son- Joseph G. Siko, III husband of Barbara (Friday) Siko, Pittsburgh; Son- Donald J. husband of Julie (Miller) Siko, McConnellsburg; Son- Gregg J. husband of Sally (Adams) Siko, Fuquay Vaina, NC; Sister- Elizabeth Ann Cringle, Plum; Sister- Barbara Ann Temple, Utica; Sister- Mary Lou Duffy, Franklin;Twelve grandchildren - Anthony Formosa, Vincenzo Formosa, Ronald Formosa, Kim Parfitt, Elizabeth Schwartz, Patrick Nacey, Jaime Brittingham, Kiersten Siko, Kaityn Siko, Tyler Miller, Donna Grace Siko and Joseph Siko IV and eleven great grandchildren also survive.

He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church of Bedford. Mr. Siko was employed as a supervisor at LTV Steel in Pittsburgh, retiring after 43 years of employment.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Bedford with Father Donald Dusza, celebrant.

Interment will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.

Friends are invited to call on Friday from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg where a vigil for the deceased will be held at 8:30 PM Friday.
