                         Lillian Eleanor Uphold

Mrs. Lillian Eleanor Uphold, 75, of US 220, Bedford, died at 9:50 PM, Saturday, July 17th, 2010 at her residence.

Mrs. Uphold was born in Perth Amboy, NJ on February 21, 1935, the daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Leidner) Deter.

On March 17, 1984, she married Marlin Uphold. He preceded her in death on May 16, 2006.

She is survived by Son- Harold A. Kania, Bedford; Daughter- Donna T. Kania, Bedford; Son- Dante J. Kania, TN; Daughter- Marie C. Drake, FL; Son- John S. Kania, TN; Granddaughter- Autumn L. Smith, Bedford; Sister- Marie Hudgens, FL; Sister- Dorothy Whitcomb, NJ; Sister- Frances A. Drummond, NJ. She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Simon Kania and by her former husband, Samuel MacGregor

Lillian was employed as a custodian for the Eagles Club and the American Legion, where she was also a devoted volunteer.

A graveside service will be held at at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport, NJ. at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 22nd, 2010 with Pastor Robert Detwiler officiating.
