This was quite a shock to all of us who new and worked with Moose at Pepsi. Moose was a great guy and really taught me a lot about the trucking industry. Back in the 70s and 80s, I would load trucks all night at Pepsi and then hang around the plant waiting for Moose to come to work and I would go with him in the #88 Kenworth. He wasn't scared to say or try anything. What a character! Finally between him and Old Dad we talked them at Pepsi to let me get my license and drive. It was a privileged to know and work with him. My deepest sympathy goes out to the whole family. Gene has given me many memories that I will always remember. Terry Shaffer
