Uncle Ned was one of the most wonderful, kindest persons I have known. Always smiling and loving. Uncle Ned and Aunt Mary Jane had something we all wish we had. I have so many memories of growing up surrounded by a loving fun family. I might be far away but my heart is with you all and I am sending my love. Distance does not make it easier to say goodbye. "Uncle" Ned was one of the two most genuine and loving men I have ever known. His twinkling eyes and sneaky grin lit up a room and the heart of at least one god-daughter. Always planning his next adventure or plotting his next joke. He will always remain that vibrant, vital man in my memory. I have so many memories that will keep him in my heart. I have a feeling that he is in heaven's bowling alley with my dad and they are calling each other "Buddy", again. That thought gives me peace despite his loss. His last years may not have been as he wished them to be, but his legacy will live through his amazing family- "Aunt" Mary Jane, Joe, Neddy and their families. I will again walk for him in this year's Memory Walk for Alzheimer's Disease. It is never easy to say goodbye to someone that was so much a fiber of your childhood.
