                                 OBITUARY                   May 29, 2008

                                                Sherman E. McClucas

Mr. Sherman E. McClucas, age 67, of Cider Road, Manns Choice, died at 12:22  AM , Wednesday, May 28th, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.

Mr. McClucas was born in Ogletown, Somerset County,  on , Friday, January 3, 1941,  he was the son of the late  George  McClucas and Virginia (Rogers) McClucas.

He retired from the  parts department at Caterpillar Inc. of York after 30 years.

. Sherman was an avid hunter and antique car collector.  He enjoyed motorcycle riding and primitive camping with his family.

Sherman was the husband of Nancy J. (Beaner)  McClucas, whom he married  December 5, 1993.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his mother and  Daughter- Tonya wife of  Mark Grimes, Bedford; Son- Quintin husband of  Tawnya  Barefoot, New Paris; Step Daughter- Brenda Elam, Beckley, WV; Step Daughter- JoAnn wife of  Benjamin Miller, Bedford; Step Son- Michael Imler husband of  Chris Beals, Hyndman; Brother- Lester McClucas, York.  He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.

 
A Funeral Service will be held  at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg,  at 2:00   PM on Saturday, May 31st,  2008, with Rev. Alan Brumbaugh officiating.
