                                 OBITUARY                        January 14, 2007

                                                    Dennis D. Beal

Mr. Dennis D. Beal, age 59, of Anderson Road, Schellsburg, died at 10:50 PM , Wednesday, December 27th, 2006 at

his home in, Napier Township as the result of an accidental fire.

Mr. Beal was born in Johnstown, on Tuesday, May 20, 1947, the son of the late Kalman and Angelina (Siciliano) Beal.

He was the recently retired Chief of operations for the at Bedford County Sanitary Corporation.. and a life member of the

Bedford Post #7527 VFW.

Dennis served in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant in the Vietnam War with the 1st Infantry Division and was awarded the

Purple Heart Medal for wounds received, Combat Infantryman's Badge and the Bronze Star Medal.

He is survived by his son- Vincent Beal and fiancée Shannon Turk, of Schellsburg; Sister- Sondra Horvath, of

Annapolis, MD. A number of nieces, nephews aunts and cousins also survive. Dennis was preceded in death by a

brother - Lance Beal.

A private Graveside Memorial Service with military rites accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard will be held at the Beal

family property with the Honor Guard Chaplain officiating.

The Beal family is being assisted by the Mickle - Geisel Funeral Home of Schellsburg.
