OBITUARY June 3, 2007
Robert L. "Bob" Burget
Robert L. "Bob" Burget, age 73, of 225 East Pitt Street Apt # 306, Bedford, PA ,
formerly of Cable Street, Everett, died at 4:15 AM , Sunday, June 3rd, 2007 at
Donahoe Manor Nursing Home.
Robert was born in Curryville, PA on December 24, 1933, he was the son of the
late William W. and Susan M. (Hainley) Burget. He was a crane operator for New
Enterprise Stone & Lime Company for 28 years.
Bob was a member of Pennwood Bible Church. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed
woodworking, had a great sense of humor, and he loved going to gospel sings.
Robert was the husband of Patricia A. (Wilkison) Burget, whom he married on July
25, 1953.
In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Joe Allen husband of Connie
(Foreman) Burget, Duncannon; Daughter- Judy Ann wife of Vernon Weist, Breezewood;
Daughter- Joy Arlene wife of Richard Blahut, Andrews Air Force Base; Son- Jan
Robert Burget, Richmond, VA; Daughter- Jackie Lee wife of Charles "Pete" Hite,
Mechanicsville, VA. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 17 great
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers-Blair, Paul, John, and
a sister Mary Clark.
A funeral service will be held at Pennwood Bible Church, Everett, PA. at 2:00 PM
on Tuesday, June 5th, 2007 with Rev. Floyd Rinehart and Rev. Joseph Shawley
officiating.
Interment at Everett Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home,
Bedford and Tuesday 1 - 2 PM at Pennwood Bible Church.
