OBITUARY September 6, 2007
Richard W. Buterbaugh
Mr. Richard W. Buterbaugh, age 65, of North George Street, Bedford, died at
11:20 PM , Wednesday, September 5th, 2007 at Magee Hospital, in Pittsburgh.
Mr. Buterbaugh was born in Johnstown, on Sunday, February 22, 1942, the son of
the late Emory and Louise (Kraft) Buterbaugh.
Richard was the former branch manager of the Schellsburg office of Johnstown
Bank & Trust.. he was also a licensed realtor with Blackburn - Johnson Realty of
Bedford.. and was a member of the Bedford United Methodist Church.
A past president of Bedford Jaycees, and a former member of Schellsburg Lions
Club. Richard was an avid hunter, enjoyed spending time on his mountain property
and fishing trips to Canada..
He was the husband of Donna L. (Foor) Buterbaugh, whom he married October 4,
1978..
In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Brad E., Bedford; Son- Bret J.
husband of Marie M. Meredith, State College; Son- Jason R., Bedford; Son- Jeremy
L., Bedford; Brother- Larry and wife Dolores , Bedford; Sister- Carol wife of
Jerry Brown, Lima, Ohio; Sister- Sandra wife of Larry Baker, Washington. Richard
is also survived by 4 grandchildren - Kyle, Jeffrey, Matthew and Rachel.
A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, at 10:30
AM on Saturday, September 8th, 2007. with Rev. Jeffrey Welsch officiating.
Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park Bedford,
