                                                   Rose M. Creighton

Mrs. Rose M. Creighton, age 89, of Donahoe Manor Road, Bedford, but formerly of Osterburg, died at 1:20 PM ,
Monday, October 2nd, 2006 at Donahoe Manor, Bedford.
 

Mrs. Creighton was born in Altoona, on Thursday, May 31, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Edwin C. and Vera
(McElwee) Hatch.
 

She was a homemaker. and a former beautician..
 

Rose was the widow of Ray E. Creighton, whom she married May 13, 1942 and he preceded her in death on August 29,
1981..
 

She is survived by Son- Michael D. Boyles husband of Wilhelmina Weld, Anchorage, Alaska; Daughter- D. Jean
Christian, Tony, Alabama; Daughter- Donna J. wife of James L. Ickes, Osterburg; Brother- Donald Hatch, Hollidaysburg;
Brother- Edwin C. Hatch, Jr., Tyrone; Sister- Susan Querin, Altoona. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 28 great
grandchildren, a great great grandson.
 

Rose was preceded in death by a grandson - Michael Edwin Boyles, 2 brothers - Harry & Alan Hatch and a sister - Betty
McClelland.
 

A Funeral Service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home at 10:30 AM on Thursday, October 5th, with Pastor
Donna Wolfinger officiating.
 

Interment at the Fishertown Cemetery.
