OBITUARY October 24, 2007
Loretta J. Domen
Mrs. Loretta J. Domen, age 78, of Washington Street, New Baltimore, died at 7:00 PM , Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007 at Donahoe Manor, in Bedford.
Mrs. Domen was born in Johnstown, on August 3, 1929, the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Suhrie) Wambaugh.
She worked as a waitress at at Howard Johnsons Restaurant on the PA Turnpike in New Baltimore.. She also worked at resort hotels in Naples, FL, Colorado, Ashville, NC and at the Bedford Springs & The Fort Bedford Inn..
Loretta was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Baltimore & The New Baltimore Sportsmans Club.
She was the widow of Michael J. Domen, whom she married February 16, 1991 and he preceded her in death on May 18, 1998.
She is survived by Brother- James "Poodle" Wambaugh, Berlin; Brother- Thomas M. husband of Ann Mowry, Buffalo Mills; Brother- Kenneth J. husband of Anna Lee Ranker, New Baltimore. Loretta is also survived by a number of Nieces and Nephews and was preceded in death by an infant brother and a sister - Rita Miller.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore. at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 26th, 2007, with Father Allen Zeth as celebrant.
Committal Services will be held at St. Johns Church Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call Thursday 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg where a vigil for the deceased will be held at 8:30 PM Thursday.
