                                 OBITUARY                    November 26, 2007

                                                   Mary Jane Felix

Mrs. Mary Jane Felix, age 80, of Quaker Valley Road, New Paris,  died at 4:30   PM , Sunday, November 25th, 2007 at her home, 

Mrs. Felix was born in West St. Clair Township, on  Saturday, August 27, 1927,  the daughter of the late Sewell and Ruth (Hammer) Rogers.

She was a lifetime member of the Dunnings Creek Church of the Brethren, where she also served as pianist for 20 years..

Mary Jane was a 1948 graduate of the Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Johnstown and was a charge nurse at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home in Bedford for many years.

She was the widow of Virgil W. Felix, whom she married March 3, 1949, and he preceded her in death December 25, 2003..

Mary Jane is survived by  Son- Dennis R. Felix, Bedford; Son- Roger G. Felix   husband of  Kathryn Huebner, Johnstown; Son- Randy G. Felix, New Paris.  She was preceded in death by a special aunt - Ruie Hammer.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Dunnings Creek Church of the Brethren at 11:00  AM on Wednesday, November 28th, 2007,  with Rev. Alan Brumbaugh officiating.

Interment at Fishertown Cemetery .

Friends are invited to call Tuesday 2 to 4 & 7 to 9  PM at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Pleasantville and Wednesday 10:30-11:00  AM at  the church.
