OBITUARY December 11, 2006
Oliver Perry Graham Sr.
Mr. Oliver Perry Graham,
Sr., age 92, of Hyndman Road, Buffalo Mills, died at 12:15 AM , Monday, December
11th,
2006 at Meadowview Nursing Center, Berlin, Somerset County,
Mr. Graham, was born in
East McKeesport, Allegheny County, on Monday, March 2, 1914, the son of the late
Allan Sr.
and Sarah (Holler) Graham.
He was a lifetime
electrician, and a member of the Bedford Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Graham was a
graduate of the Coyn Electrical School of Chicago in the late 1930's, and was a
dedicated member of
the Bedford School Board thru the 1950's and 1960's..
He was the widower of
Esther (Johnson) Graham, whom he married September 5, 1939 and she preceded him
in death
September 2, 2005..
He is survived by
Daughter- Barbara Rotz, Woodbridge, VA; Son- Richard D. Graham, Sr. and wife
Gloria of Stafford,
VA; Son-Allan T. Graham, Sr.and wife Etta , Buffalo Mills; Brother- George
Graham, Islip, New York. He is also survived
by 10 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
Mr. Graham was also preceded in death by a son - Oliver Perry "Gus" Graham, Jr.,
4 brothers - John, Floyd, Allan Jr &
Harry, along with a half-brother - Russell, 4 sisters - Reba Shiring, Ruth
Salton, Grayce Weaver & Sarah Wainwright
A Funeral Service will be held at
Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 15th,
with
Rev. Douglas Friant officiating.
Interment at Dry Ridge Cemetery, Manns
