                                           Kathleen "Kay" E. Harbaugh

Kathleen "Kay" E. Harbaugh , age 79, of Dallastown, formerly of Cessna, Bedford County, died at 8:22 PM , Sunday, December 9th, 2007 at Manor Care, Dallastown.

Mrs. Harbaugh was born in Hooversville, PA on Saturday, August 11, 1928, daughter of the late Sampson F. and Mae (Housel) Zimmerman.

Kay retired from Hedstrom Corporation as a machine operator after 20 plus years, she also worked at the Five Gables, Washington Coffee Shop, Ickes Orchard, and Alwines, and was a hospital volunteer. She was a member of St. John's Christian Church.

Mrs. Harbaugh was the widow of Lewis I. Harbaugh, whom she married on October 18, 1947 and he preceded her in death on April 6, 1993 .

She is survived by Daughter- Iva Jane Hengst wife of Charles Hengst III , York; Daughter- Sara Karleen Hamilton wife of Jeffrey Hamilton, Bedford; Son- David L. husband of Ann (Logue) Harbaugh, Bedford; Son- Guy B. husband of Cindy (Dubbs) Harbaugh, Glen Rock; Brother- Dewey Duane Zimmerman, New Paris; Sister- AnnaBelle Kipp, Stoystown; Sister- Beatrice Mae Gardner, Bedford. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren-Amy E. Stevens and husband Charlie, of Biddeford, ME, Cody Lee Eicher, of Bedford, Seth Harbaugh, of Glen Rock, Heather Harbaugh, of Glen Rock., 2 great grandaughters-Tiffany & Phoebe Stevens of Biddeford, ME, 2 step grandchildren-Jerrichah Love and husband John Love; Barry Amick and wife Andrea; and 5 step greatgrandchildren-Brian, Zack, Morgan, Josh, and Emma. She was preceded in death by brothers-Claude Eugene Zimmerman, Jay James Zimmerman, Clifford Clair Zimmerman, sister-Doris Delaine Miller, and two infant brothers.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, PA. at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 15th, 2007 with Rev. Eric Larson officiating.

Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park.

Friends are invited to call Friday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.
