                                 OBITUARY                    December 30, 2007

                                                  Mary C. Hengst

Mrs. Mary C. Hengst, age 80, formerly of  Fishertown, died at 4:20  PM , Saturday, December 29th, 2007 at Homewood of Martinsburg.

Mrs. Hengst was born in Pittsburgh,  on November 10, 1927,   the daughter of the late Theodore and Mary (Gorenz) Daley.

She was housewife, a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church  of Osterburg and the Lutheran Church Women.

Mary was a 1945 graduate of Shade High School where she was a majorette in the school band, a one time waitress at the former Five Gables Restaurant at Cessna and a Bedford Springs gift shop hostess..

She was the widow of Robert R. Hengst, whom she married July 20, 1946 and he preceded her in death on April 4, 2006..

Mary is survived by  Daughter- Donna L. wife of  Owen College, Osterburg; Son- Robert T. Hengst  and partner Robert Tennant , Morgantown, WV; Son- Richard R. husband of  Dena Morrison, Oakham, MA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister - Stella Mangiofico.

A Funeral Service will be held  at St. Peters Lutheran Church at 11:00  AM on Tuesday, January 1st,  with Rev. Donna Wolfinger officiating.

Interment at Osterburg Community Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call Monday 2 to 4 & 7 to 9   PM at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Pleasantville and Tuesday 10:30 to 11:00  AM at at the church.
