                                                  Della I. Hillegass

Mrs. Delia I. Hillegass, age 83, of Manns Choice, died Saturday, September 16th, 2006 at Sacred Heart Hospital, in
Cumberland, MD.
 

Mrs. Hillegass was born in Noyes Township, Clinton County on Wednesday, September 27, 1922, she was the daughter
of the late George and Anna (Strouse) Lowery.
 

She was a housewife and was affiliated with the Independent Baptist Church..
 

Delia was the widow of Millard C. Hillegass, whom she married June 27, 1938 and he preceded her in death on October
21,1982..
 

She is survived by Son- Miilard D. "Son" Hillegass husband of Janet Mowry, Manns Choice; Son- Donald V. Hillegass
husband of Nancy Kerr, Manns Choice; Daughter- Janet I. wife of William 0. Mowry, Manns Choice; Brother- George
 

Lowery, Tyrone; Brother- Francis Lowery, Renovo. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, a
great great granddaughter.
 

Delia was preceded in death by a grandson, 3 great-grandchildren, a sister - Myrtle Belle Baker and a brother - William
Lowery.
 

Services are private at the convenience of the family, at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, on Tuesday,
September 19, 2006 with Rev. Ken Korns officiating.
 

Interment at Dry Ridge Cemetery, Manns Choice.
