Madeline L. Hoagland
Madeline L. Hoagland,
age 93, of Hoagland Road, Bedford, PA , died at 8:48 AM , Friday, December 29th,
2006 at home.
Madeline was born in Madley, PA on May 22, 1913, she was the daughter of the
late Henry and Hester (Wolford) Holler. She was a homemaker, a member of St.
John's Christian Church, Cessna, and the Bedford Grange.
Mrs. Hoagland was the widow of Sylvester Hoagland, who preceded her in death on
May 11, 1977.
She is survived by Daughter- Daphine wife of Lee Grimes, Bedford; Daughter-
Dorothy Barefoot, New Paris; Daughter- Lynda wife of David Miller, Bedford; Step
Son- Don husband of Betty (Krampf) Hoagland, Bedford; Step Daughter- Shirley
(Hoagland) wife of James Pennel, Loysburg; Step Son- Fred husband of Joyce
(Miller) Hoagland, Bedford; Step Daughter- Alice Jean Ellis, Bedford; Sister-
Ethel O'Baker, Ohio. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 9 great
grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 15 step-great
grandchildren, 4 step-great great grandchildren. Madeline was preceded in death
by a daughter Betty Fix & Son-In-Law- Bill Fix, 3 great great grandchildren, and
11 brothers & sisters.
A funeral service will be held at Louis
Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, PA. at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 31st, 2006 with
Rev. Eric Larson officiating.
Interment at Bedford Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call Saturday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral
Home, Bedford.
