Mrs. Ethel E. Hyde, age 72, of Belden Road, Bedford, PA died Saturday, September 29th, 2007 at Centre Community Hospital, State College, PA.

Mrs. Hyde was born in Wood Twp., PA on January 9, 1935,  she was the daughter of the late John and Nellie (Adomnik) Yankanich.  Ethel was a retired bookkeeper for Landmark Restaurants, she was a member of  Bedford Presbyterian Church, and a past member of the Military Mothers.

She was the widow of Donald B. Hyde, whom she married on February 11, 1956 and he preceded her in death on May 28, 2003.

She is survived by  Son- Rick L. husband of  Alanna (Columbus) Hyde, Finksburg, MD; Son- Randy W. husband of  Terri L. (Grubb) Hyde, State College; Brother- Andrew Yankanich, Wheaton, MD; Brother- John Yankanich, Jr., Schellsburg; Sister- Martha Price, Philadelphia; Sister- Pauline Adams, Rockville, MD. She is also survived by 1 granddaughter-Samantha R. Hyde.. She was preceded in death by a son Robbey and a sister Nellie.

A funeral service will be held  at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, PA. at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007 with Rev. Douglas Friant officiating.

Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park.
