                                                Dena M. Klemstine

 

 

 

Mrs. Dena M. Klemstine, age 88, of Valley Road, Schellsburg, PA , died at 7:35 AM , Saturday, July 22nd, 2006 at Donahoe Manor, Bedford.

Mrs. Klemstine was born in Napier Township, on Tuesday, September 25, 1917, she was the daughter of the late James and Daisy (Kimmel) Seese.

She was a Beautician and a member of the United Church of Schellsburg, where she served on the church council.

Dena was a member of the Schellsburg VFW Post #4440, Ladies Auxiliary, Everett American Legion Post Ladies Auxiliary, and a charter member of the R. S. V. P. of Bedford.

She was the widow of David H. Klemstine, whom she married November 7, 1946 and he preceded her in death on January 28, 1995.

Dena is survived by Son- James S. Klemstine, Annapolis, MD; Son- William D. Klemstine, Schellsburg. She is also survived by 2 grandsons - Christopher & Jonathan; 2 great-grandsons - Cole & Graham. She was preceded in death by a sister - Katherine Miller, 2 brothers - Kimmel Seese & Charles "Dewey" Seese.

A Funeral Service will be held at the at United Church of Schellsburg, Schellsburg, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 26th, with Revs. Ruth Shaver & Katherine James - Klemstine officiating.

Interment at Schellsburg Cemetery, Schellsburg,.

Friends are invited to call Tuesday 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, and on Wednesday from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM at the church.
