                                                   Laura M. Knisely

Laura M. Knisely, age 95, of Lilac Lane, Bedford, PA , died at 9:05 AM , Wednesday, February 14th, 2007 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Knisely was born in Lafayettsville, PA on February 12, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Ransom and Amanda (Ebersole) Snyder.

Laura was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed raising chickens on the family farm, gardening, flowers, baking, and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Knisely was the widow of D. Elwood Knisely, whom she married on March 8, 1935 and he preceded her in death on December 31, 1980.

Laura is survived by Daughter- F. Annette wife of Pete Frederick, Bedford; Grandson- Eddie Frederick, Bedford; Granddaughter- Michele wife of Terry Eschmann, Bedford; Brother- George Leonard Snyder, Manns Choice; Numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by 2 great grandsons- Chad & Brad Hall. Laura was preceded in death by a daughter Betty Violet Wertz on January 6, 1997, brothers-Oscar, Orville, Elwood, and Richard, sisters-Hazel Bowser, Grace Brumbaugh, and Flora Stiffler.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, PA. at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 16th, 2007 with Pastor Sarah Keilholtz officiating.

Interment at St. Mark's Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call Thursday 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.
