                                                  Margaret E. Leydig

Mrs. Margaret E. "Peggy" Leydig, age 89, of Mowry Hill Road, Buffalo Mills, went home to be with the Lord at 9:05 AM ,
Monday, May 21st, 2007 from her home.
 

Mrs. Leydig was born in Juniata Township, on Saturday, August 11,1917, the daughter of the late James and Zella
(Diehl) Robb.
 

She was a housewife, and enjoyed gardening, was quite a bread baker and did a lot of canning for her family..
 

Margaret was a member of the former Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church of Buffalo Mills and the ladies aid of the
church..
 

Peggy was the widow of Clyde L. Leydig, whom she married in August of 1936 and he preceded her in death in
November of 1987..
 

She is survived by Son- James L. Leydig, Buffalo Mills; Son- Gary L. Leydig husband of Carol Cline, Everett; Sister-
Reta Adams, Bedford; Sister- Hilda Gulp, Mims, FL; Sister- Phyllis Croyle, Schellsburg; Sister -in-law Marie Countryman,
Berlin. Peggy is also survived by a grandson - Brandon L. Leydig and two great-grandsons - Scott L. & Simeon L. Leydig.

She was preceded  in death by a brother - Donald Robb and a sister - Velma Manges.
 

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, . at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 24th, with
Rev. Homer Duppstadt officiating.
 

Interment at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery Buffalo Mills, .
 

Friends are invited to call Wednesday 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
