                                 OBITUARY                    February 4, 2008

                                                   Bruce C. Lyons

Mr. Bruce C. Lyons, age 81, of Lita Lane, Buffalo Mills, PA , died at 5:15    AM , Sunday, February 3rd, 2008 at  his home,

Mr. Lyons was born in Altoona, PA on March 12, 1926, the son of the late Carroll Victor and Blanche (Frum) Lyons.

He was a  maintainance  machinist for 32 years at Westinghouse Electric in Trenton NJ.  and lived in New Jersey for 40 years before coming to Bedford County  after retirement..

Bruce was a  charter member  of the Hamilton Elks Lodge of Hamilton Township, NJ,  a member of the Oscar Jordan Post VFW of Hyndman, and the Manns Choice-Harrison Township Senior Citizens..

He served in the U.S. Navy as an  Aviation Ordinanceman Third Class during WW II.

Bruce was the widower of Edith A. (Breth)  Lyons, whom he married February 12, 1946 and she preceded him in death on July 29, 2002..

He is survived by  Son- Richard B. Lyons, Buffalo Mills; Daughter- Debby S. wife of  Ralph Muench, Groveville, NJ; Daughter- Carol A. Muench, Cream Ridge, NJ.  Bruce is also survived by 4 grandchildren - Eric, Kristopher, Kelli & Allyse, and a number of nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by a brother - Arland & a sister - Marian Long.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, PA. at 7:30  PM on Wednesday, February 6th,  2008 with Rev. William Fenstermaker officiating..

Interment at Brigadier General William Doyle Veterans Cemetery,  Arneytown, NJ.
