                                                   Velma M. Manges

Velma M. Manges, age 92, of Robb Road, Manns Choice, PA , died at 3:10 PM , Sunday, March 11th, 2007 at home.

Mrs. Manges was born in Juniata Twp., PA. on March 6, 1915, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Zella M. (Diehl) Robb. She was a manager at the Quality Court Motel in Bedford when she retired, and she was a member of Christ Victory Church in New Buena Vista.

Velma was the widow of Elvin V. "Short" Manges, whom she married on June 1, 1933 and he preceded her in death on September 8, 1994.

She is survived by Son- William J. husband of Shelva (Heidorn) Manges, New Paris; Daughter- Patricia wife of Dwight Berkebile, Stoystown; Son- Elvin V. Manges, Jr, at home; Sister- Margaret Leydig, Buffalo Mills; Sister- Reta Adams, Bedford; Sister- Hilda Culp, Mims, FL; Sister- Phyllis Croyle, Schellsburg. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. Velma was preceded in death by a brother Donald Robb.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, PA. at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 14th, 2007 with Rev. Kerry Cathers officiating.

Interment at Schellsburg Cemetery, Schellsburg, PA.

Friends are invited to call Tuesday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
