                                 OBITUARY                    April 16, 2007

                                                   Charles H. Martin

Mr. Charles H. Martin, age 63, of Wilt Hollow Road, Schellsburg, , passed away at 5:38  PM , Sunday, April 15th, 2007 at  his home, in Napier Township, 

Mr. Martin was born in Juniata Township, on  Tuesday, March 7, 1944,   the son of the late Norbert and Ethel (Frazier) Martin.

He was employed as an equipment operator and retired from PennDot.. he previously worked for Bentley Coal Company of Bentleyville and was a Napier Township supervisor..

. Charlie was an avid hunter and sportsman, a member of PARCE of PA, AFSCME chapter #13, and AARP..

Charles was the husband of Marcia M. (Hite)  Martin, whom he married January 25, 1969..

In addition to his wife he is survived by Sister- Sara Mae Nave, Schellsburg; Sister- Anna Mary Frazier, Jennerstown; Sister- Marlene E. Hillegass, Schellsburg.  Charlie is also survived by a number of loving nieces & nephews and was preceded in death by an infant daughter - Annamary Mae Martin, 2 brothers - William R.  Frazier & Robert  H. Martin.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg,  at 11:00  AM on Wednesday, April 18,  2007  with Rev. Virgil Frazier officiating.

Interment at Schellsburg Cemetery .

Friends are invited to call Tuesday 2 to 4 & 7 to 9  PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
