                                                    Alice E. Miller

Mrs. Alice E. Miller, age 87, of South Market Street Martinsburg Blair County, but formerly of Hammer Road, Schellsburg
, died at 9:15 AM , Wednesday, December 27th, 2006 at Homewood Retirement Center in Martinsburg.
 

Mrs. Miller was born in Napier Township, on Wednesday, July 16, 1919, the daughter of the late Homer Sr. and Emma
(Diehl) Emerick.
 

She was a former auditor for Napier Township and a member of the Point United Methodist Church where she was a
member of the Busy Bees of the church.
 

Alice was the widow of Stanton Miller, whom she married November 23, 1939 and he preceded her in death on
September 27, 1988..
 

She is survived by Daughter- Marian K. wife of Wilbur Mountain, Harrisburg; Son- Ronald S. husband of Karen
Wonders, Altoona; Son- Larry E. husband of Marsha Brown, Schellsburg; Daughter- Lou Ann wife of Dr. Frank Cullen,
Bedford; Brother- Donald Emerick, Central City; Brother- Homer Emrick, Jr., Alum Bank; Sister- Ruth Miller, Schellsburg;
Sister- Janet Coughenour, Fallston, MD. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
Alice was preceded in death by 3 sisters - Betty Ickes, Grace Miller & Doris Suder, 2 brothers - Harry & Leroy Emerick.
 

A Funeral Service will be held at Point United Methodist Church at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 30th, with Rev.
Larry Raughley officiating.
 

Interment at Schellsburg Cemetery Schellsburg, PA.
 

Friends are invited to call Friday 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg and at the church on
Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
