                                 OBITUARY                   April 11, 2008

                                                    Dorothy Miller

 

 

 

Dorothy Miller, age 75, of Hazelette Street, Everett, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 9th, 2008 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.

Dorothy was born in Sidman, on December 2, 1932, daughter of the late Carl and Elizabeth "Betty" (Suhoney) Figard. She was a cook at White Sulpher Springs, a member of Spring Meadow Family Worship Center, Bedford American Legion Post #113 Ladies Auxiliary, and enjoyed painting ceramics, traveling, NASCAR, camping, and spending time with her family .

Mrs. Miller was the widow of William Miller whom she married on December 20, 1986 and he preceded her in death on July 15, 2007.


She is survived by Son- John Sherry, Fontana, CA; Son- Charles Sherry, San Diego, CA; Daughter- Sally Sherry, Las Vegas, NV; Son- Gregg Maupin, Buffalo Mills; Daughter- Norma Jean wife of John Axon, Manns Choice; Daughter- Mary Lubak and fiancee James Frazier , Schellsburg; Step Daughter- Kimberly Miller, Huntingdon; Step Son- William Brian husband of Rachel (Norris) Miller, Heston; Sister- Shirley Cropper, Manns Choice; Sister- Mary Schreffler, DE; Sister- Anna (Perri) wife of Jim Harshbarger, Hollidaysburg. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son William, sisters-Linda Robinette, Theresa Smith, Betty Plummer, brothers-John, Ray, Carl, Ronald, Joseph, George, James, Hershal, Paul, and Lou.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, PA. at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 14th, 2008 with Rev. Gary Boor officiating.


Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
