                                                 Amy Louise Morgart

Amy Louise Morgart, age 79, of Main Road, Rainsburg, died at 2:35 PM, Wednesday, January 17th, 2007 peacefully after an extended illness at home.

Mrs. Morgart was born in Cumberland, MD. on March 16, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Charles P. and Ina Lillian (Graffius) Smith. She was formerly employed as a manager of the News Stand at the Bedford Springs, and was a homemaker. Amy was a member of Yeager Lutheran Church.

Amy Louise was the wife of Clair W. Morgart, whom she married on June 14, 1947.

In addition to her husband she is survived by Daughter- Sharon L. wife of William McFadden, Gettysburg; Daughter- Susan D. wife of Jerry Cessna, Rainsburg; Son- John W. Morgart, Rainsburg. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren-Bryan, Jerry, Luke, Amanda, Kylee, and Rachel, and 6 great grandchildren-Zachary, Olivia, Sara, Grace, Liza, and Wyatt.
Mrs. Morgart was preceded in death by two brothers-Tommy & Teddy, and was the last surviving member of her family.

A funeral service will be held at Woods Church, Rainsburg at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 20th, 2007 with Pastor Jenny Barnes officiating.

Interment at Wood's Church Cemetery Rainsburg.
