Mrs. Lorraine P. Myers, age 84, of Moller Avenue, Hagerstown, MD , died at 7:58  AM , Wednesday, February 21st, 2007 at her home,  

Mrs. Myers was born in Juniata Township, Bedford County, PA on June 19, 1922,   the daughter of the late Elmer J. and Rhoda L. (Miller) McKinney.

She worked as a maid at the Bedford Springs Resort in Bedford. She was also a cook at Berger Chef in Hagerstown and a hostess at AC &T in Hagerstown.. and was of the Brethern faith.

Lorraine was a special mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, a very precious lady. 

She was the widow of Hayes H. "Mose" Myers, whom she married July 12, 1942 and he preceded her in death on October 6, 1980.

 Lorraine is survived by  Daughter- Diana Collins, Hagerstown, MD; Son- John Myers husband of  Mary Birdsong, Schellsburg; Son- Ronald H. Myers husband of  Ella Mary Moser, Fallingwater, WV; Son- Roger E. Myers, Fallingwater, WV; Son- Robert W. Myers husband of  Valerie Custer, Boonsboro, MD; Son- Ricky L. Myers and companion Donna Hagerty, Fallingwater, WV; Son- Richard D. Myers husband of  Elizabeth Baker, Smithsburg, MD; Son- Robin Todd Myers, Windber; Sister- Mary Helen Ensrude, North Dakota. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren,  a great great granddaughter. and a friend Cindy.

She was preceded in death by 2 daughters - Joyce and Mary Jenkins, Grandson - Travis Jenkins, sister - Ruth Kuhns.  She will be greatly missed by her cat -Twinkie.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, PA. at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 24th,  with Rev. Ruth Shaver officiating.

Interment in Schellsburg Cemetery, Schellsburg, PA.
