                                              Lulu Jean Nunamaker

Lulu Jean Nunamaker, age 82, of Country Ridge Road, Bedford died on Friday, January 18th, 2008 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Nunamaker was born in Rainsburg, PA on Wednesday, November 18, 1925, the daughter of the late Blaine and Zinnia (Miller) Smith. She did housekeeping and laundry at Crinoline Courts Motel, Bedford Springs, and Bennetts Motel.

Jean was the wife of Harry J. Nunamaker, whom she married on June 2, 1948.

In addition to her husband she is survived by Son- Norman D. Smith, Everett; Daughter- Anna Belle Smith, VA; Daughter- Phyllis (Smith) wife of Don Mitchell, New Paris; Daughter- Barbara L.(Nunamaker) wife of Mearl May, Fishertown; Daughter- Katherine M. (Nunamaker) wife of William Mearkle, Bedford; Son- Larry J. husband of Lisa (Blattenberger) Nunamaker, Bedford; Daughter- Janet J. (Nunamaker) wife of Martin Nolan, Bedford; Son- Gary L. husband of Lori (Riehl) Nunamaker, Osterburg; Son- Terry D. Nunamaker, Bedford; Brother- Jerry Smith, Bedford; Brother- Don Smith, Rainsburg; Brother- Floyd Smith, Ohio. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sisters-Hazel Karns and Ada Bingham, brothers-Harry, and Richard Smith, 4 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, PA. at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008 with Rev. Paul Claycomb officiating.

Interment at Bedford County Memorial.
