                                                  Bernice J. Oldham

Mrs. Bernice J. Oldham, age 74, of Old Quaker Church Road, Fishertown, went home to be with the Lord. at 5:00 PM ,
Friday, September 22nd, 2006 at the Altoona Center for Nursing Care,
 

Mrs. Oldham was born in Napier Township, on, Monday, August 15, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Harry L. and
Martha J. (Evans) Miller.
 

She was a housewife, and enjoyed gardening and growing her flowers, and was a loving mother and sister. She will be
missed by all.
 

Bernice was the widow of Robert E. Oldham, whom she married January 4, 1958 and he preceded her in death on June
15, 2005. His death ended a marriage of 47 years.
 

She is survived by Daughter- Dianne L. wife of Paul Rowser, New Paris; Daughter- Melissa J. wife of Barry Redinger,
Bedford; Son- Randy L. Oldham, Fishertown; Brother- Harry Miller, Jr. and wife Margaret, Schellsburg; Brother- Clarence
"Jiggers" Miller and wife Maxine, Schellsburg; Brother- Foster Miller and wife Margaret, Schellsburg; Sister- Virginia
Gorga, Prospect Park; Sister- Abigail Waugerman and husband John, Manns Choice; Sister- Carrie Thorton, Columbus,
Ohio; Brother- Robert Miller, Bedford; Sister-in-law- Mary Ross, Central City; Sister-in-law- Elizabeth Miller, Schellsburg.
Bernice is also survived by 3 grandchildren - Doug & Denise Rowser and Breeanna Oldham, along with a soon-to-be
-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers - Nelson & Lester Miller.
 

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, PA. at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September
26th, with Rev. Arthur Roxby, III, officiating.
 

Interment at Fishertown Cemetery, Fishertown, PA.
 

Friends are invited to call Monday 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
