                                 OBITUARY                    January 2, 2008

                                                  Donald E. Robinette

Mr. Donald E. Robinette, age 71, of  Chelsea Lane, Schellsburg,  died at 2:00  PM , Tuesday, January 1st, 2008 at Donahoe Manor,  in Bedford.

Mr. Robinette was born in Everett,  on  Saturday, April 11, 1936,   the son of the late Sherman and Edith (Robinette) Robinette.

He was employed as a welder at  Westinghouse Corporation in Lithicum, MD for 27 years..

Don was a member of the Bedford American Legion Post #113, and Schellsburg VFW Post #4440..

He served in the U.S. Army as a Private in the Korean War.

Don is survived by Sister- Louise Williams, Schellsburg; Brother- Richard Lee Robinette, Brownsville; Sister- Carol Jean wife of  Charles Williams, Schellsburg; Sister- Lelia Spenner, Schellsburg.  Don was preceded in death by 4 brothers - Shelley, Ralph Blair, & Kenneth Robinette and Dale Ritchey; also a sister - Bonnie Hatt.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, PA. at 11:00  AM on Friday, January 4th,  2008,  with Rev. Ruth Shaver officiating.

Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park,

Friends are invited to call Thursday 2 to 4 & 7 to 9   PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.

Graveside military rites to be accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard..
