                                                David E. Scritchfield

Mr. David E. Scritchfield, age 62, of West Wills Road, Manns Choice, died Thursday, September 21st, 2006 at Memorial
Hospital, Cumberland, MD.
 

Mr. Scritchfield was born in Manns Choice, on Friday, March 3, 1944, he was the son of the late Clarence Andrew and
Margaret (Bagley) Scritchfield.
 

He was a carpenter at Miller & Long in Bethesda, MD for over 22 Years.. Dave worked most recently for Ron Debonis in
Bedford..
 

Dave is a member of the New Baltimore Sportsmens Club, & The Bedford American Legion Post #113..
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
 

David was the husband of Delia Jane (Custer) Scritchfield, whom he married August 31, 1974..
In addition to his wife he is survived by Son- Martin D. dark husband of Traci Fisher, Middleburg; Daughter- Robin dark
wife of Raymond Arnold, Bedford; Son- Kenneth E. dark, Bedford; Daughter- Michele dark wife of Jeff Eckard,
Bedford; Sister- Charlotte Wertz, Bedford; Sister- Alonda Braman, Bedford; Sister- Margaret "Peggy" Scritchfield, Manns
Choice. Dave is also survived by 10 grandchildren - Charles, Martin, Benjamin, April, Lana, Cole, Kennedy, David,
Summer & Olivia; 4 Great-grandchildren - Boyd, Autumn, Taylor & Tyier. and a number of nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by 3 brothers - Samuel, Joel & Rickie; 2 grandchildren - Justin & Dustin, and a sister - Shirley Crasser.
 

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, PA. at 11:00 AM on Monday, September
25th, with Rev. Richard Whetstone officiating.
 

Interment at Milligans Cove Cemetery, Buffalo Mills, with graveside military rites accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor
Guard.
 

Friends are invited to call Sunday 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
