                                                  Lonnie L. Sleaster

Lonnie L. Sleaster, age 65, of Sweet Root Road, Bedford, PA , died at 5:43 PM , Wednesday, December 20th, 2006 at Eastern Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, Ohio.

Mr. Sleaster was born in Hopewell Twp., PA on February 28, 1941, he was the son of the late Hiram Sleaster and Edith (Wright) Sleaster-Neuder of McConnellstown. He was reared by his paternal grandparents Harry & Jennie Sleighter.

Lonnie was an owner / operator truck driver for 40 years, and a member of the Bedford Moose Lodge # 480. Lonnie was the husband of Joan (Pensyl) Sleaster for 41 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his Daughter- Sandy M. Sleaster, Bedford; Son- Lonnie L. Sleaster, Jr., Hagerstown, MD; Son- Dean C. Sleaster, Bedford; Brother- Ronald Sleaster, Huntingdon; Sister- Leanna Sleaster, Monrovia, CA; Brother- Harry Clyde Sleaster, Las Vegas, NV. Lonnie was preceded in death by a brother Jerry.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, PA. at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 23rd, 2006 with Sister Anna Mary Whitford officiating.

Interment at Sweet Root Cemetery.
