                                                  Rose Anna Smith

Mrs. Rose Anna Smith, age 85, of Carlisle, but formerly of Manns Choice died Saturday, September 16th, 2006 at the
Sarah Todd Nursing Home in Carlisle
 

Mrs. Smith was born in Manns Choice, on Wednesday, February 2, 1921,- she was the daughter of the late Oscar E.
and Alice (Egolf) Diehl.
 

She was a secretary at at Shawnee State Park in Schellsburg. and retired from Bedford Rural Electric in Bedford..
 

She was a member of the United Church of Schellsburg, where she was a pianist for many years..
 

Rose Anna was the widow of Harold E. Smith and he preceded her in death on November 20, 1989..
 

She is survived by Son- Gregory A. Smith, York; Son- Jeffrey J. Smith husband of Diane McGee, Carlisle; Sister- Helen
wife of Frank Longen, Adelphi, MD. Rose Anna is also survived by 3 Grandchildren - Joseph Smith of Carlisle, Kann
Shoemaker of Carlisle and Jason Graves of State College.
 

A Funeral Service will be held at MickIe-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 19th,
with Rev. Ruth Shaver officiating.
 

Interment at Schellsburg Cemetery, Schellsburg, .
