                                 OBITUARY                        December 18, 2006

                                             Thomas W. "Buck" Steach

Thomas W. "Buck" Steach, age 61, of Upper Snake Spring Road, Everett, PA , died at 7:50 PM , Sunday, December 17th, 2006 at home.

Tom was born in Everett, PA on January 18, 1945, he was the son of the late G. Junior and Ruth Mae (Bollman) Steach.

Tom graduated from Everett High School in 1962, and was an avid hunter, horseman, NASCAR & Dirt Track Fan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Tom was a member of the Everett Legion Post # 8, and was employed at Kennametal for 38 years. He was affiliated with the Trinity United Church of Christ at Dry Ridge.

Mr. Steach served in the U.S. Army as a Sgt in the Vietnam War. Tom received the Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, & the Bronze Star Medal, he was an expert rifleman (M-16), and a sharpshooter (M-14).

Tom was the husband of Missy (Hillegass) Steach, whom he married on August 30, 2002.

In addition to his wife he is survived by Daughter- Michele wife of Thomas M. Davidson, Bedford; Daughter- Shawna wife of Kevin Holler, Bedford; Step Son- Rodney Mock, Manns Choice; Sister- Patricia wife of John Mobus, Everett; Brother- Larry J. husband of Winifred (Clark) Steach, Everett; Brother- Robert A. husband of Pamela (Miller) Steach, Bedford, TX; Brother- Dennis J. husband of Connie (Bloom) Steach, Harrisburg. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren- Leah & Luke Davidson.

A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford, PA. at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 20th, 2006 with Rev. Charles Jack officiating.

Interment at Dry Ridge Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call Tuesday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.
