                                                   Junior E. Williford

 

 

 

 

Mr. Junior E. Williford, age 76, of Cortland Road, New Paris, formerly of Chaneysville, died at 4:45 PM , Monday,
January 15th, 2007 at the Veterans Home, of Hollidaysburg, Blair County,
 

Mr. Williford was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on Friday, June 6, 1930, the son of the late Fate and Mary (Hurst)
Williford.
 

He was a member of Local # 37 operating engineers of Baltimore, MD., Masonic Lodge F&AM of Cumberland, MD and
was affiliated with the Faith Brethern Bible Church..
 

He served in the U.S. Army as a Private with Company B, 117th Battalion.
 

Junior was the husband of Dorothy C, (Stultz) Claycomb - Williford, whom he married August 28, 1994..
 

In addition to his wife he is survived by Step Daughter- Jean Alderton, New Jersey; Step Daughter- Debby D. Claycomb
wife of Marty Bowman, New Paris; Step Son- Donald 0. Claycomb husband of Kathy Weaver, Breezewood; Step
Daughter- Gail A. Claycomb, Schellsburg; Step Son- Douglas R. Claycomb husband of Carole Corle, Fort Worth, TX. He
is also survived by 13 Step-grandchildren, 11 Step-great grandchildren, 2 Step-great great grandchildren, and was
preceded in death by his first wife - Vola Williford and by a sister - Ellen Cassidy.
 

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 19th, 2007,
with Rev. James Espenshade officiating.
 

Interment at Cuppett Cemetery, New Paris.
 

Friends are invited to call Thursday 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.
Military rites accorded by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
