June E. (Rose) Stickel

Mrs. June E. Stickel, 79, of River Front Drive, Bedford, died Monday, May 1st, 2017 at her home,

Mrs. Stickel was born in Harrison Township on Wednesday, June 30, 1937,  the daughter of the late Ralph and Anna (Poorman) Rose.

On August 31, 1957, she married Norman R. "Dutch" Stickel, Sr.  He preceded her in death on August 28, 1997.

She is survived by  Son- Dennis G. husband of Mary (Scott) Stickel, Bedford; Son- Kevin R. husband of Glenda (Shaffer) Stickel, Bedford; Daughter- Kimberly J. Stickel, Bedford; Son- Eric L. Stickel, Bedford; Son- Kevin R. Stickel, Jr., Bedford; Sister- Frances Bagley, Bellefonte, Brother- Donald Rose, Manns Choice and by five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by two sons, Keith Stickel and Norman "Dutch" Stickel, Jr., a brother, Regis Clark Rose, and the following half siblings, Clifford Nicodemus, George Rose, Herman Rose, Dorothy Bowser, Hazel Seymour, Betty Barney, and Helen Drenning.

June was a homemaker and a member of the Manns Choice United Methodist Church.  She was a loving and kind mother, grandmother, sister and friend and she will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 4th, 2017 with Pastor Beth Pyles officiating.

Interment will be held at  Schellsburg Cemetery.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Geisel Funeral Home in Schellsburg.
