Mrs. Mary Jane Harris, 73, of Reservoir Road, Bedford, went home to be with the Lord at 5:25 PM, Sunday, March 18th, 2012.
Mrs. Harris was born in Friends Cove on Monday, December 19, 1938, the daughter of the late Vernon C. and Evelyn Mae (Rose) Foor.
On March 12, 1970, she married Raymond Harris. He preceded her in death on February 25, 2007.
She is survived by Daughter- Cynthia Bagley and friend James Dermer, Bedford; Son- Kenneth "Butch" husband of Margaret "Elaine" (Grove) Mock, Everett; Daughter- Sonja wife of Frank Hammack, Bedford; Daughter- Eleanor wife of Russell Gelsinger, Conestoga; Son- Raymond "Randy" Mock, Bedford; Daughter- Michelle Harris, Bedford; Daughter- Juanda Burton, Pittsburgh; Daughter- Karen Hill, Washington, DC; Daughter- Helena Harris, Pittsburgh; Sister- Katherine "Kate" (Foor) wife of Earl Kimble, WV; Brother- Charles husband of Wanda (Diehl) Foor, Manns Choice; Sister- Donna (Foor) widow of Bill Imler, Bedford; Sister- Helen M. (Foor) Burns, Bedford; Sister-in-Law- Anna (Holler) Foor, New Enterprise; Sister- Betty L. (Foor) wife of Blain Scritchfield, Bedford; Sister- Josephine M. (Foor) wife of George Garman, New Enterprise; Sister- Sue (Foor) wife of Gary Imler, Fishertown; Sister- Hazel J. (Foor) wife of Randall McClain, Salisbury, MD. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons, Harry "Pete" Mock and Rance Harris and two brothers, Phillip Foor and Roy F. Foor.
Mary Jane was a homemaker. In the summertime, her and her husband Raymond worked at the Cumberland Fair and at the Great Bedford County Fair She was considered a mother and grandmother by many who knew her and she will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford at 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 22nd, 2012 with Pastor Joyce Stoudemire officiating.
Interment will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-9 PM at the funeral home.

Gram, I love you!! I considered you one of my best friends and will never forget all the talks that we have had an all the times that we sat an watched tv. I will miss seeing looking out window when i pull up to the house an having coffee with you. I know now that you are not in pain and are with Pappy and Uncle Pete smiling down on us. I hope that Pap and Unce Pete met you at the gates with open arms and you gave Pap a big kiss! I love you Gram an will never for get you!

Aunt Jane You will truley be missed You were wise beyond your time! I will always remember the motherly advice you so wisely gave me when I lost my brother, but I also know you will be taken care of in Heaven with Uncle Raymond to watch over you. Love you Always.

we were so sad to hear that maryjane had went to be with the lord ,but we know she is in heaven with raymond and phillip and shes not in any pain anymore ,we will always remember her and keep her in our hearts,she was a very sweet aunt and we all will miss her and remember all of the things she talked about.
