Mr. Roy Karl Kile, 80, of Clearville, died at 12:30 AM, Friday, April 13th, 2012 at Donahoe Manor Nursing Home after a long illness.
Mr. Kile was born in Onego, WV on Thursday, February 11, 1932, the son of the late Roy E. Kile and Lora (Vance) Kile Cornell.
He is survived by Daughter- Cindy, Philadelphia; Daughter- Donna wife of Mike Mulhalland, Salisbury, MD; Brother- Hubert husband of Elaine (Conrad) Kile, Clearville. Roy is also survived by five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. He was previously married to Helen (McKay) Kile of Salisbury, MD. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Roy E. Cornell, one sister, Pauline Wigfield and two brothers, Dixie "Buck" Kile and Herbert E. "Gene" Kile
Roy attended the Fairview Christian Church. He was employed by the H-P Tool Company in Philadelphia. He then worked at Hinkle McCory and on various saw mill, pulpwood and excavating jobs. Roy enjoyed music and playing the guitar.
A funeral service will be held at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., Everett at 2:30 PM on Sunday, April 15th, 2012 with Pastor Milton Morse and Pastor Russ Hoffman officiating.
Interment will be held at Pine Grove Christian Cemetery, Monroe Township.
Friends are invited to call on Saturday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM and Sunday from 1:30 - 2:30 PM at the funeral home.
