Delores D. (Weaverling) Lantz

Mrs. Delores D. Lantz,  74, of  Sweet Root Road, Bedford, passed away at 9:25 AM , Wednesday, June 20th, 2018 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA., surrounded by family .

Mrs. Lantz was born in Riddlesburg,  on September 2, 1943,  the daughter of the late Roy R and Winifred V (Hamm) Weaverling.  She was the wife of William L. "Bill" Lantz.   whom she married on July 20, 1963.
She was affiliated with the Bedford United Methodist Church.

Delores loved camping, gardening, playing BINGO, painting,  going to the beach, and was owner/operator of Lantz Cleaning.

In addition to her husband she is survived by Daughter- Jacqueline L. wife of  Steven Heidorn, Bedford; Son- William B Lantz, Schellsburg; Daughter- Linda S wife of  Rodney Williams, Schellsburg; Son- Eric K. husband of  Gina (Plummer) Weaverling, Fishertown; Brother- Roy "Rod" Weaverling, wife Lynne (Hockenberry),  FL; Sister- Deborah Weaverling-Feight & Michael Riggs, Outer Banks, NC; Sister- Kathy Weaverling & Johnny Belanga, Outer Banks, NC; Sister- Cindy Weaverling, Johnstown.  She is also survived by 11 grandchildren-Benjamin, Bridget wife of Christopher Wright, Jeremy, Kaitlyn, Mitchell, Joey and wife Rachelle , Paige, Seth, Douglas, Makayla, and Jaylyn, and 4 great grandchildren-Lydia, Owen, Evitt, and Carter, numerous nieces and nephews and beloved dog "Sadie".She was preceded in death by two sisters-Sandra and Suzanne Weaverling, brother in law Daniel Feight.

Friends are invited to call Sunday 2-6 PM   at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford.

A funeral service will be held  at Louis Geisel Funeral Home, Bedford,  at 11:00 M on Monday, June 25th, 2018.

Interment at Sweet Root Cemetery, Bedford, PA.
