Denver D. Yokum

Mr. Denver D. Yokum, 58, of Warmuth Lane. Bedford died Monday, December 9th, 2013 at his home.

Mr. Yokum was born in Bedford on Thursday, March 31, 1955,  son of  Denver C. Yokum, husband of Bonnie of Clearville and the late Louise (Smith) Clark.

In addition to his father and step-mother, he is survived Daughter- Peg wife of  Brad Dibert, Bedford; Daughter- Deana Yokum, Bedford; Daughter- Carrie wife of  Adam Frederick, Bedford; Sister- Lettie Restley, New Baltimore; Brother- Dennis Yokum, Bedford; Brother- Lynford Yokum, Bedford; Sister- Lisa Lehman, Somerset; Brother- Sam Crawford, Wisconsin; Sister- Pennie Nave, Bedford; Sister- Jennie Humbertson, Cumberland; Sister- Tona Tissue, W. Newton, Brother- Steve Yokum, Bedford He is also survived by four grandchildren, Noah Dibert, Ethan Yokum, Isabelle Dibert & Eli Dibert. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Doodle Restley.

Denver was of the Methodist Faith.  He was employed as a truck driver for Miller's Quality Recycling in Bedford.  Denver was a member of The Democrat Club and Crossroads, both of Cumberland.  He was known to say that he was a jack of all trades and a master of none.

A Memorial Service will be held at at Bedford Valley Bible Church, Centerville at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 12th, 2013.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at the church.
