Heather Kay Furmanchick
February 20, 1946 — June 24, 2017
Ms Heather Kay Furmanchick, 71, of Homewood at Spring House Estates, passed into life eternal on Saturday, June 24th, 2017 at Maybrook Nursing Center, Altoona, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Miss Furmanchick was born in Bedford, PA on February 20, 1946, she was the daughter of Steve and Betty (Thomas) Furmanchick of Bedford.
Heather graduated from Bedford High School in 1964. She then became a flight attendant with a major airline, flying to cities all over the world for 43 years. Heather retired in 2012 and moved back to Bedford to be near her parents who survive her. She was a loving and generous person with a kind heart and a deep love for the Lord. It was such a joy to know her.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date.
