Jacob C. Herline, Jr.

Jacob Calvin Herline, Jr., 89, of Emerick Road, Schellsburg, formerly of Everett passed away at 6:35 AM, Thursday, December 12, 2019 at home.

Mr. Herline was born in Manns Choice on September 12, 1930,  the son of the late Jacob C. and Margaret (Fisher) Herline.

On October 16, 1955 Jacob married  Florence L. (Clark) Herline. She preceded him in death on March 7, 2013.

He is survived by  Son- Stan R. husband of  Sally  Herline, Claysburg; Daughter- Debbie Karns, Schellsburg; Son- David L. husband of  Teresa Herline, Bedford; Son- Calvin L. husband of  Vickie Herline, Schellsburg; Grandchildren Becky & Mike Walter, Michael & Jamie Herline, Andy Karns & Fiance Ashley Sloanaker, Heather & Scott Redinger, Steven Karns, Brittany & Eric Milburn, Breanne Herline, John David, Patrick & Zachary McCoy, Carissa & Zachary Yohn, Casie & Nathan Umbleby, Joshua Horton, Kaylee & Bronson Bowser. Great-grandchildren- Joshua, Lydia, Jacob, Lanah, Lily S., Jason, Alice, Hope, Wyatt, Carson, Noah, Aidan, Kace, Neveah, Kolston, Chloe, Lily U.,Kade, Maci, Colt, Hazel and Emma; Sister- Mary Lou Miller, Milesburg; Sister- Dorcas Elliot, Schellsburg; Sister- Linda Shetler, Schellsburg; Sister- Sandra Snyder, Schellsburg and Brother- Larry Herline, Schellsburg. Jacob was preceded in death by Brothers- Paul, Charles and Albert Herline and Sister- Marian Whetstone and Infant Sally Jo.

He was employed as an Assembler at Everett Door Factory for 24 years.

Jacob was a member of the Everett and Manns Choice Church of God.

Friends will be received on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8PM at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg.

A Funeral Service will be held at Manns Choice Church of God at 2:00PM on Sunday, December 15, 2019 with Pastor Aaron Whetstone, Pastor Richard Whetsone and Pastor Kim Swindell officiating.

A Committal will be held at Manns Choice Church of God.

Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Manns Choice.
