John D. "Dave" Oberle

Mr. John D. "Dave" Oberle, 76, of Chalybeate Road, Bedford, died Saturday, August 26th, 2017 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Oberle was born in Cannonsburg on November 8, 1940, the son of the late Frank M. and Anna Josephine (Walters) Oberle.
He is survived by Daughter- Lisa A. wife of Buddy Van Pelt, Breezewood; Son- Greg L. Oberle, Rainsburg; Daughter- Joelle K. wife of Bernard Richardson, Everett; Son- John K. Oberle, Bedford; Sister-in-Law- Joanne Oberle, New Jersey; Sister-in-Law- Judith Oberle, Queen; Sister-in-Law- Mamie Oberle. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Ty, Trenton & Imagin. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Tim Oberle, Jan Oberle & Larry Oberle.
Dave was employed at Knisley and Sons in Bedford as a plumber and heavy equipment operator for over 25 years until his retirement. He was an expert horseman and loved his horses more than life itself. Dave was a father, grandfather and friend and he will be missed.
Friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, September 9, 2017 from 10:00 AM - 12 Noon at Louis Geisel Funeral Home in Bedford.
Interment will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park.
