Myron T. Stufft

Myron T. Stufft, 92, of  Reynoldsdale Road, New Paris  passed away at 6:15 PM, Tuesday, February 26th, 2019 at Donahoe Manor.

Mr. Stufft was born on December 7, 1926 in Lovely,  son of the late Rayford and Celia (Taylor) Stufft.

On August 7, 1947 in Cumberland, Maryland he married Janet M. (Fleegle) Stufft. She preceded him in death on March 21, 2003.

He is survived by  Son- Wayne E. Stufft, Shippensburg; Daughter- Marjorie J. wife of  Robert May, New Paris; Granddaughter-  Melissa J. (May) wife of  Walter Pentrack, New Paris; Grandson- Bradley R. husband of  Courtney (Close) May, Bedford; Grandson- Erik W. Stufft, Chambersburg; Granddaughter-  Kala M. Stufft, Chambersburg; Four special great-grandchildren Olivia, Aubrey, Eva and Asher; Sister-in-Law Avenelle Mickle as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Myron is preceded in death by two brothers Harold Mickle and Bernard Stufft.

Myron retired from U.S. Steel after 38 years of service as a millright. He then worked part time at Old Bedford Village as a tinsmith.

Mr.. Stufft served in WWII overseas serving most of his time in Japan with the General Headquarters Armed forces Pacific working for the Stars and Stripes Newspaper.

He enjoyed traveling the United States visiting every state but two with his wife Janet, Brother Harold and Sister-in-law Avenelle.

Myron was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church.

He was a wonderful father and grandfather and will be sadly missed by all.

Friends and Family are invited to call on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc, Pleasantville.

A Funeral Service will be held  at Jack H. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc, Pleasantville at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 1st,  with Pastor Tai Courtemanche and Pastor John Bennett officiating.

Interment at Bedford County Memorial Park, Bedford.

Graveside Military Rights accorded by Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
